So it took five emails but itunes reversed the charges. To catch up, Itunes had a great sale and they offered several greatest hits albums for 7.99. One of which was Queens Greatest hits volume one and two. This was 34 songs for 7.99. I tried all day to order this great deal but i kept getting a message that the files were being modified to try again later. Finally about 10pm was able to download the songs. I check the account history and found I had been charged full price for the album 33.66. I quickly emailed itunes support. It took me several correspondences to explain my problem but after five emails the support representative offered to correct the charges.
This must have been a great promotion for Itunes. Queen's Greatest hits was the number one album over the weekend and today is still fifth on the list. In the top 20 albums today there were three or four that were Greatest hits that were on sale last week.
[this is good] Unfortunately I purchased The Band's "Music from the Big Pink" on the same sale and was charged the full price of 9.99 instead of the listed 7.99. What is wrong with this company. They offer a sale then don't honor it.
